This LIVE 9-week Yoga for Emotional Balance immersion will teach you all the tools necessary to create emotional freedom, empowerment and peace in any circumstance. 

Based on the Tantric Yoga teaching of the Nine Rasas – or the Nine Primary Human Emotions – each week, we’ll dive into an in-depth study of one of the Nine Rasas each week. We’ll explore each Rasa from several angles with a dharma talk, meditation, mantra, mudra, asana and breath practice.

Plus, you’ll leave with a clear Psychology Takeaway Tool to easily apply this to your daily life.

20+ HOURS OF CONTENT

  • This 9-week course is for teachers, mental health professionals experienced students, or anyone brand new to yoga. It is an ideal course to introduce you to or deepen your current understanding of holistic mental health, shadow work, yoga psychology and powerful tools to create intelligence and healthy emotional processing.
  • Curate your own curriculum. Study at your own pace and revisit the classes and tools again and again. Weekly content builds on prior curriculum, but each session may also be taken individually. You may jump in at any point to focus on your specific needs and interests. 
  • Study at your pace and take your time! Yoga is a non-linear path. These are timeless tools that you will want to revisit again and again! Begin your week with an inspiring 30-minute meditation focusing on our weekly Rasa. Unpack the brilliance of these “Nine Primary Human Emotions” with practical tips to apply them to your life for maximum efficacy. Following a Dharma Talk and occasionally breathwork, we will sit with a combination of silence and guided meditation. End with a simple weekly intention/assignment.

Yoga Practice (60 min.)

Indulge in a unique hour-long sequence designed to embody the specific Rasa of the week. Release tension, build strength, increase flexibility and balance your nervous system as we explore a diverse palette of poses and practices to embody yoga philosophy and cement it into action in our lives. Bring any props you’d like!

Core Work (10 min.) + Psychology Takeaway Tool (10 min.)

End your week with a powerful Prayer Circle, Core Work and Takeaway Practice. We accept “Prayer Requests” all week long and come together in community to hold sacred space, ask for support, healing and uplift each other. Friday sessions focus on targeted “Core Work” for confidence and empowerment followed by a clear “Takeaway Tool” and “Psychological Integration Exercise” to ensure that you apply these principles to create the lasting change you desire in your life.

Can I take this immersion if I live in a different time zone? What if I have a full-time job?

Yes! One of the main benefits of online training is that anyone can make it work with their own circumstances. If you cannot attend live, you have access to the replays for up to a month after the live immersion ends.

 

Will I have one-on-one access to Ashley?

No. While Ashley will be conducting live sessions, there is no one-on-one access with Ashley. Many of our students and members decide to sign up for Private VIP Coaching with Ashley to support their personal and professional growth.

Is this Immersion for me? What kind of support will I receive?

This immersion is for most levels of students, teachers and mental health professionals interested in learning more about yoga for mental and emotional health – including an experiential study of the Nine Rasas through asana, meditation, journaling, prayer, dharma talks and breathwork.

 

The spiritual journey is unique for everyone. People approach yoga from a wide variety of perspectives: some physical, literal and logical, some come from a more emotional and psychological place, and others use the practices to strengthen a relationship with Spirit, Soul, God or mysticism. All approaches are welcome here. 

 

If you are a teacher or professional, this work will deepen your understanding of yogic and depth psychological tools for emotional processing, healing, studentship, and teaching. Ashley will guide you into how you can weave this curriculum safely into your classrooms, clinical practice and daily life.

 

Emotional work can be confronting. It is important to know that you may experience big feelings, emotional shifts, and changes in your physical and energetic bodies. This program is not a replacement for therapy, medical care or other healing modalities. Rather it is a complement to other personal work and healing.
